“The Buffalo image I used for this was a photograph that was taken by my partner many years ago. Knowing of my Buffalo obsession, she managed to photograph this shot from television while watching an old cowboy movie.
“I loved how layering pieces of the images (horses and Buffalo) on top of one another lent itself to the feeling of the stampede. This occurred organically during the process of making: I had printed out many cards “incorrectly” and then didn’t want to waste them. Voila! Inspiration that made sense to the design!” –SW
